How to Add the Rate.Me Macro to a Page

  1. Navigate to the Confluence page where you want to add the rating feature and edit the page

  2. In the Confluence editor, choose Insert

  3. Search for 'Rate.Me Macro' and click on the item in the list and click the insert button

  4. Configure 'Rate.Me Macro' parameters:

    • Description: short description associated to the macro.

    • Color: Set the desired color for the rating stars to match your site's aesthetics.

    • Disable content rating: Enable or disable the ability for users to submit ratings.

    • Show content rating: Show or hide the ratings associated to the current content page

  5. After configuring the parameters, insert the macro and publish the page

    • A list of pages you have rated will be displayed, along with the respective ratings.

    • To remove a rating, click the Remove option next to the specific entry.

Ratings Space Settings

The Space Ratings Page allows Space Admins to review and manage all ratings associated with pages in a specific Confluence space.
It provides a centralised overview of user feedback, helping space administrators monitor content quality and identify areas that may need improvement.

Who Can Access the Space Ratings Page

  • Only Space Admins can access the Space Ratings Page.

  • Regular users do not have visibility into ratings submitted by others at the space level.

Key Features

  • Centralised Space Overview: View all ratings submitted for pages within the current space in one place.

  • Page-Level Insights: Each rating entry is associated with the page it was submitted on, making it easy to identify highly rated or low-rated content.

  • User Transparency: See which users submitted ratings (when ratings are not anonymous).

  • Rating Management: Space Admins can remove ratings if needed, for example in cases of misuse or outdated feedback.

  1. Navigate to the desired Confluence space.

  2. Open Space settings.

The Ratings Global Settings page provides system-wide visibility over all ratings created across all Confluence spaces.
It is designed for Confluence administrators who need a complete overview of how content is being rated across the entire instance.

Who Can Access the Space Ratings Page

  • Only Confluence Administrators can access the Ratings Global Settings page.

  • Space Admins and regular users do not have access to this section.

Key Features

  • Global Ratings Overview: View all ratings submitted across every space in the Confluence instance.

  • Cross-Space Visibility: Ratings are grouped by space and page, allowing administrators to identify trends beyond a single space.

  • User Information: See which users submitted ratings (when ratings are not anonymous).
