How to use Macro Finder

Access Macro Finder

  • From the Confluence main menu, locate and click on Apps.

  • Select Macro Finder from the list of available apps.

Simple Search for a Macro by Text

  1. Open the Search Interface:

    • Once you're in the Macro Finder app, you'll see a search bar at the top of the page.

  2. Enter Search Term:

    • Click on the search bar and type in the name or keyword of the macro you are looking for.

  3. Execute Search:

    • Press Enter or click the Search button to initiate the search.

Viewing and Navigating Search Results

  1. Results Table:

    • After executing the search, a table will display all Confluence pages where the macro appears.

    • The table includes columns for the Page Title, Space, Last Modified Date, and Macro Details.

  2. Navigate to Pages:

    • Click on any Page Title in the results table to navigate directly to that Confluence page.

  3. Sort and Filter Results:

    • Use the table headers to sort results by page title, space, or last modified date.

    • Apply filters to refine your search results further.
